In the manufacture of industrial boilers, due to the limitation of processing conditions, V-shaped grooves and asymmetric X-shaped grooves are generally used. For small-diameter drum bodies, when it is inconvenient to use automatic welding on the inner side, V-shaped grooves are often used.

(2) T-joint: When the plate thickness is below 30 mm, the groove can be omitted. If the joint needs to bear the load, the unilateral V-shaped, K-shaped, or double-U can be selected according to the thickness of the steel plate and the requirements of the structural strength.
