Turning Rolls

Turning rolls, also called welding rotator, is a common welding auxiliary equipment. 1. Anti-channeling mechanical execution structure

Generally speaking, the workpiece is moved in the axial direction by friction force on the turning rolls, but in order to optimize it, many manufacturers realize that the turning rolls can be moved to the opposite direction at will during the spiral movement. The current technology can be implemented in three areas:

(1) Jack-up actuator

This form allows the driven wheel to move up and down and offsets the axis of the workpiece. This method greatly improves the adjustment sensitivity of turning rolls and is suitable for some larger workpieces.

(2) Offset type actuator

The rollers on both sides of the driven wheel move in the same direction along the vertical centerline, thereby causing the workpiece to shift. This form is also very sensitive.

(3) Translational actuator

This form is known by the name. Turning rolls do the horizontal movement. It has many advantages. Not only is it extremely stable, but its structure is also very simple, and it does not take up additional installation space.

2. Control of driving wheel speed

The mainstream drive currently adopted by turning rolls is stepless speed regulation, which can achieve smooth rotation, and it can be adjusted by DC or AC frequency conversion. After DC speed regulation enters the market, many factories and manufacturers often encounter failures, and the cost is also high. Therefore, the current AC frequency conversion speed regulation has become the mainstream of the moment. On this basis, the manufacturer also separates each driving wheel. 3. Adaptive control
